Member of a family of clear Guanche origin, this cult Arafero followed an ecclesiastical career and, after his ordination as a priest, obtained the titles of Bachelor, Licentiate and Doctor in Sacred Theology at the University of Seville, being the first son of Arafo to achieve the highest academic qualification.
From his priestly career we know that he was a beneficiary of the parent parish of Teguise and vicar of the island of Lanzarote, promoting at that time the reconstruction of the parish church, which Email Marketing List had been destroyed in an attack by Berber pirates. He remained in these responsibilities until his untimely death. He had two brothers who were officers of the Canary Islands Militias.
He was born in Arafo in April 1615, the son of Don Juan Marrero and Doña María Magdalena González. On the 20th of that same month he was baptized in the parish church of Santa Ana de Candelaria by Atty. Don Marcos Xuárez, priest and beneficiary of the same, and Brother Félix de Fonseca acted as godfather.
