WhatsApp launches secret code to block chats
Earlier this year WhatsApp announced the possibility of Telegram Number Data blocking conversations ( update May 16, 2023 ). Now the next new feature of WhatsApp is to use a secret code to block chats. This feature makes certain chats even more secure and difficult to find, especially if other people have access to the same phone or if the cell phone is shared.

Using the secret code, an individual password can now be set to provide additional protection for locked WhatsApp chats. The secret code must be different from the password used to unlock the phone.

Proving to have thought of everything, WhatsApp also offers the option to hide the blocked chats folder from your chat list. That way, they can only be discovered if you type the secret code in the search bar. However, if desired, they can also be displayed in the chat list.

If you want to block a new chat, just press and hold to activate the block, without having to open the chat settings.
